Puredisk Installation problem

This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi

We have 4 PD server with some clients. 2 of the clients of diferents PD has been reinstalled with the same name and IP. I can install without problem the agent, but when i'm going to register in one of the puredisk server (Only in one of the PD the clients was registered ) we have a resgiter issue

CONFIGURATION  FAILED!!!

 

I have tried without firewall, antivirus, etc.. I check the nslookup and it's all ok from the client and from the PD. I 've tried with the wizard and manually (with commands)

The agent it's registered in the PD but it's disable and in the path c:\progr.....\symantec\puredisk agent\etc\ any file it's created.

The both server are w2k8 r2 X64 and the PD are 6.6.1.2

Do you have some idea??

Re-Register

I'm not 100% sure what your saying, but If you re-register an Agent to the same SPA, you must first Disable the Agent on the SPA. Then it will let you re-register it. After the registration is complete you can then re-activate it.

The agent in the SPA it's disable, but i can't re-register my client. I have check the ports 10087,10101,10082,443 and 80 from the client to the server and all works except 10087, but i check that from other clients not work too

The problem was a incident

The problem was a incident with a proxy and the 443 port

It's solved now
