  • 1.  Purging Maintenance Page Failed to load ('offsetParent' is null or not an object)

    Hi,

    I have a problem on my NS 7.1 SP1 when I try to load the page Purging Maintenance (Settings >> Notification Server >> Purging Maintenance), the following error is displayed

     'offsetParent' is null or not an object

     

    In the log i find two errors

    Hi Marco Necci,

    When this same error ocurred at TASKS\Software Delivery in 6.x version, was recommended repair Software Delivery Solution 6.1 Hotfix 2 (http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH18948).

    Purging Maintance is a part of Notification Server. So you could try repair your SMP using the Symantec Instation Manager (SIM).

    Please after repair the SMP let us known if the problem was solved, ok?

    I opened a case with the symantec support and this was the answer:

    I have information from our development team that the fix for the issue will be, tentatively, included in ITMS 7.1_SP2 release. It is already reported that during the tests of SP2 the same error was not observed. The current version is SP1.
    I've tested that the purging works and the settings can be modifier and saved, i.e. the error seems to be quite minor so far.
