    Hi there,

I am using GSS 2.0 and the PCs are being image via PXE server.

The problem I am having is that when the Ghost server starts pushing out the image to the machines, the amount of bandwidth varies, which sometimes goes to 100MB (very slow). How can I increase or control the amount of bandwidth to be use in the PXE server? Do I need to edit the Autoexec.bat? If yes, what command(s) should I use to accomplish this task.

    Thank you
    Carlos

PXE server is used only to boot the client systems. The imaging traffic does not go through the PXE service at all.

I'd suggest seeing if you can improve speed by removing hubs/switches etc from the path until you are able to locate the slow device. Other reasons for slow network speed would include incorrect NIC drivers, network loading, and network configuration.

You'll find more detailed explanations of network configuration elsewhere on the forum. Some of these can get quite technical, and are probably best discussed with your network administrator.
