Hello

I have changed our PXE booting setup to use TFTPD32 with WinPE. Under the old setup using 3com boot services with PCDOS I had a menu with the default option to boot from hard drive after x seconds....  is it possible to do this with TFTPD32 and WinPE?

Hope this makes sense!

Many thanks

Yes, it is possible

Hi,

Yes, instead of using pxeboot.n12, use pxeboot.com as the initial loader. This will allow you to boot to PXE by pressing F12 and if you don't press F12 it will boot from the next boot device as setup in BIOS.

If you do not have the file pxeboot.com, you can copy it once you boot a machine to WinPE. It is in X:\Windows\Boot\PXE folder. You can get it from WAIK also, but this is easier.

Hi Krish,

Is it possible to add a some kind of menu with any other options? Maybe for Dell Diagnostics? Is it possible to password protect Win-PE?

Thanks
