PXE DS7.1 - Replaced NIC on PXE Server now E77 error
Created: 08 Mar 2013 | 3 comments
I remember sometime in the past I had this happen in DS 6 and I had to edit a file or replace a file since the MAC changed. What do I do in DS 7.1 to repair PXE?

Hello NoodleNT,
There would be several reasons for this , as the NIC was changed, is the ip address also changed ?
If not then please do take a look at the following articles : Probably the SBSNsiSignal may have malfunctioned and you may want to restart the services, before that you can take a backup of the SBSStore folder , once you restart the SBS services then the files similar to
initialPXEConfigPath.sbs
2003742225-image.sbs
434234353-client.sbs
Will get regenerated. Please take a look at the articles below :

I hope these will help.
Assuming you're still having a problem, go to Settings | Deployment | PXE Server Configuration, and verify that the IP address on this screen accurately matches the IP address on the server. Verify this. If it changed, you'll have to change it here as well (highlight, click the pencil to edit). Then you'll have to modify the InitialPXEConfig.txt file in the SBS folder (\\server\deployment\task handler\sbs) to match. Then restart all the services.
IF it's the IP address that was wrong.
Otherwise, I'd say just call it in. We can probably have it fixed in short order.

We kept the same IP. For some reason a .0 file was created. I had to delete that, restart the services and then rebuild the PXE environment.
