Hello,



I'm using the HP RDP 3.82 to install Altiris 6.9 sp1.



I'm faced with a bit of a pickle,

I cannot for the life of me get the PXE Manager to work.



The first sign of a problem, is that during the Altiris installation,

Anything involving the PXE installation hangs indefinitly until the computer restarts it's self. (over night)



So what I've attempted is to just use a clean install of PXE Manager and PXE after the rest of Altiris is installed. I've gotten to a point where the error messages at least match other documented errors. I've done most of the solutions outlined in KB 2165, with the symptom being "The PXE Manager Service has not connected with the DS Server yet". I've done the clean installs, I've ensured that any associated services have local administration rights.



There's a problem about enabling logging. I can edit the PXEManager.ini so PxeManagerLog_Enabled=False becomes PxeManagerLog_Enabled=True, but regardless of saving the changes, once the system restarts, the .ini has reverted to disable the logs. Most frustrating.



Any help would be supremely appreciated,
