  • 1.  PXE Manager Status Showing 127.0.0.1

    I just noticed when I open up my PXE Configuration Utility and select the status tab I have a Server Name of 127.0.0.1.  I looked at the PXE.INI file and don't see it there.  Is there a way to remove this server from the list?

    You will want to look in the pxemanager.ini file.

    A pxe server was removed and it didnt unregister from the pxe manager. You willl have a rouge GUID in the pxemanager. I do a ctrl + f and input the server name that is showing next to the rouge pxe server with the IP of 127.0.0.1. If you are lucky you can search for 127.0.0.1 and remove any instances of that GUID.

    if it shows 127.0.0.1 in the shared mode.  THis is normal. It shows that anychanges made are for all PXE servers.
