    Hello,

I have a problem with Symantec Ghost Solution suite 3.0 and the altiris PXE (On Windows Server 2012 R2 x64).

When my Client computer start network boot, it says :

PXE PreZero: Invalid PXE Server list format
    PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel Boot Agent

    1) My Server GSS 3.0 is on the same subnet than my DHCP Server.
    2) My Clients are on a different subnet than my DHCP and PXE server
    3) My DHCP Server has Option 66 and 67 with the correct configuration -> My Client access to the Bstrap.0 (checked with logs on GSS 3.0)
    4) The TFTP Session is correct (check with WireShark)
    5) I have regenerate the winPE boot image

Now I need help, any solutions please ?

I'm guessing the option of googling on "Invalid PXE Server List Format" or looking in the Symantec KB has not yet occurred to you.

May I therefore suggest using Google as mentioned above as it does display links to several Symantec resources including this one:

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/pxeprezero-invalid-pxe-server-list-format

I also noted on another thread that the poster found that moving the clients to the same subnet as the PXE server solved his problem.

    Hello,

Thank you for your Help, i've find a solution.

Moving the clients to the same subnet as the PXE server is not a "solution" for me..

I have add the option 43 in my DHCP with Hexadecimal values and it works.

    Section "Forced Mode" : https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.HOWTO5000.html

We use the PXE Forced Mode .exe utility from Symantec/Altiris to generate the option 43 HEX string to enter in the DHCP scope.  It is an easy interface to add the data we want.
