  • 1.  Quarantine Reports and Distribution lists

Have the quarantine reports set for 4am every day.  Quarantine Reports are also being sent out to distribution lists.  I have 'Notify distribution lists' unchecked to not send out digests.  How do I make it to not send out quarantine reports to distribution lists?

I was thinking of rejecting anything sent to a distrution lists.  Can I create a policy for this using wildcards based on how we name our distribution lists?

Thanks to all who can assist.

Thats all you need to do is uncheck that box. The spam notifications don't go through the normal mail flow, they go straight to the mail host, so a content filtering rule on the appliance would not effect them.

I did uncheck the box and still the reports were going out to all recipients contained on the list.  They are not being recognized as disbution lists.  I called support they recommended creating a custom dictionary, place the distribution lists addresses in there and create a policy to delete immediately based on the dictionary entries.  I did that, not pretty but its working.

I'm monitoring the spam quarantine and other distribution lists that I missed that show up, I add them to the dictionary and delete them from quarantine.
