    Hi all ,

    i have a few queries about new Symantec Encryption Server
     

    Please confirm below points.

     

    1. Is it required to have a dedicated server hardware for new PGP encryption server?
    2. Can I install PGP server on a virtual machine of windows 2012 server, Hyper –V?
    3. Which is the latest version of PGP server?
    4. What are the other features of the new version?

    I'll have a stab at these wink

    1. The SEMS can be installed on its own dedicated hardware, as well as in a VM.  The certified hardware list can be found here:

    2. While it can be installed as a VM, it appears to only support VMWare:

    3. Latest Version information for the SEMS can be found via it's Release Details page:

    4. This one can get a bit tricky depending on what you want to use it for.  The release notes for the latest version of the SEMS can be found here:
