  • 1.  Queries on 'Advanced Threat Protection'

    Hello All,

    Read about the new feature SEP 12.1.6 has brought along with it - ATP; and so, have some questions.
     

    • What is difference between ATP:Network and ATP:Endpoint. Could not find DATASHEET for ATP:Endpoint.
    • Would ATP:Email be helpful only in case where Symantec Mail Security for Exchange is deployed?
    • What is it supposed to mean for a laptop installed with SEP, while it is away from the corporate network, where there is no ATP?

    The datasheets are located here:

    • ATP Network sits out on the edge while ATP endpoint leverages SEP.
    • Looks like this leverages the email security.cloud version.
    • Since this leverages SEP, I would expect it would function like it should on the endpoint.
