Hi,

Customer would like to check whether Email Security.cloud will hold the email in the cloud for a period of time before it returns a Non-Delivery Receipt to the sender?

Customer has on-premise Exchange server and is planning for DRP.

Hello,

The Email Security.Cloud servers will retain the mail and do periodical attempts at delivery in 2 situations.

1. The recipient server returns a 4xx series error.

2. No connection could be established with the recipient server.

In these situation, the mail will be queued for up to 7 days, after which a bounce is issued and the mail failed permanently.
