  • 1.  Query for duplicate clients in SEPM

    Posted Feb 10, 2012 04:51 PM

    Hi,

I am looking for a query that will duplicate clients on SEPM. Ideally I could add this query in to run inside our NS 7 system, but if I can't do that then I can certainly run it through SQL. I gotta think this is not the first time someone has come looking for such a query. Help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

Have a look at this thread: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/sql-querys-database#comment-6577391

The comment I linked to finds duplicate hardware IDs which are supposed to be the unique identifiers in the SEPM DB.

What are you trying to achive, if I may ask? To remove duplicate objects, this URL on your SEPM server is supposed to do the trick: http://localhost:9090/servlet/ConsoleServlet?ActionType=ConfigServer&action=CleanClients (Hope it works for you)
