    Hi All,

    Win2008R2Server - using SEPM RU5

What could be the reason for having this failed notice? and What could be the resolution for this? I've reading around here and yet i have not found any resolution, hopefully i can get here.

    Hello,

Basically this happens that for some reason when the database is not upgraded during the migration from a previous version . In that case go to

\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\bin  (substitute Program Files (x86) in this path if working on a 64 bit system ) and run upgrade.bat then repair the SEP  manager installation through Control Panel - Add / Remove programs

Also - Check this document -

Query Failed returned on Home page in SEPM console after a successful migration from 11.0.6 to SEP 12.1

    Hope this works for you!!

    Hi Mithun,

Should this process require RESTART or would affect any operation from the client and or the server?

    Thanks.

After upgrade, i tried to repair it, however, i cannot find the SEPM installer package. Should it be created and placed somewhere after upgrade.bat??

Tried the upgrade, it did remove the redding of the security status and shows good. However, upon clicking the View Details, it is still Quesry Failed.,

That does not require a reboot. try running managment server configuration wizard once.

Open services.msc on the SEPM server, if you see  symantec embedded database service then its Embedded database the SEPM is using or else its SQL.

If your SQL authentication is AD and your AD pass expired then you need to run the configuration wizard to fix the issue.was there a change?
