These are the available reports with BE 2012 : http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO73544

I am not sure if you can create reports outside what is listed here.

I will wait for more expert opinion on this.

Hello Lukas,

Instead of getting into executing SQL queries for checking the BEDB, you might as well want to try to make use of Backup Exec Management Command Line Interface(BEMCLI). Please refer to the following article to get more details on it:

BEMCLI Documentation: http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC5438

Here are some more articles written by PKH which can guide you:

Edit: You may also want to refer to the following link: Using OSQL to run queries against the Backup Exec for Windows Servers Database (BEDB)- http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH31189

I did check this further.

In case you do not find a single customer report with all the filters you want, you can try creating multiple reports and merge them with Microsoft Excel.

Also, if you have an idea about this feature, please use https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/idea/welcome-symantec-ideas for the same so that the concerned teams at our end can take a look and take action if possible.

Do let us know the status.

Hi Ananya,

How can merge the reports with excel and import to Backup Exec?

Thx

It is possible to merge them with Excel, but we cannot help you do that. You will have to do that yourself and it cannot be exported to Backup Exec.

Edit : It is possible to merge them with Excel provided the reports have a column in common.
