I have been looking at bringing our CCS 10.5.1 installation up to the current patch level. I have a few questions that I need to resolve as part of my planning.
I understand that each of the PCU files (current level 2013-3) are roll-ups or all the previous patches/updates. The only prerequests that I see is that PCU_2011_3 needs to be installed before any of the newer PCUs. Also that each PCU have requirements to perform Rapidfire updates for the UNIX data collectors. May questions are:
1) How do you know what PCU/patch level you are currently at? Is it just a matter of running the Health/Status check and looking at the Hot-Fix levels, or do I need to compare each of the .dll version numbers?
2) Each PCU contains Rapidfire updates that need to be applied. Do I need to apply the Rapidfire updates from each of the previous PCUs as a prerequisite for the newer RFs, or are they also roll-ups?
