Hi, we're using SBG gateway appliance ver 7.8 with premium content filters. One of the clients is supposed to recieve an email regarding something about breastfeeding and it was filtered out by the appliance. I'm not sure where this keyword can be found, I've already looked at the dictionary on sexually related words and medical terms and it's not there. I'm not sure if I missed it or it is really not there. It also contains a pdf document containing info on breastfeeding and probably some medical terms. (I didn't read it)

Anyway, the user just wants a valid explanation why the email that was supposed to be recieved was filtered out.

Just to point out there is no version 7.8 of the SBG, so I'm guessing you are probably running 7.7 or maybe one of the 8.0.x versions...

What you are trying to find out here is exactly what the Message Audit Logs are for, do you have them enabled?  If not you need to turn them on from the Administration -> Settings -> Logs page, if so run an audit log query from the Status -> SMTP -> Message Audit Logs page to find out exactly what rules, if any, fired against the message and what action was taken.

    Cheers,

    Kevin

Thanks KevK76. Yeas, it was a typo. It is 7.7. I can't do this right now but just a follow up question. Does the Audit Logs show exactly which dictionary was used? And will activating the Audit Logs have a noticeable effect on delivery time? Thanks again. :D

The Audit Logs show the policy that fired, by looking at the policy you can see which dictionaries are associated to that policy.  Activating the Audit Logs shouldn't affect delivery time at all.

    Thanks,
