Question on installing Altiris Solutions individually

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I will be rebuilding our Altiris Infrastructure from ground up.  We only own Inventory and Patch Management Solutions rather than the whole suite.  Should I install the whole IT/Client Management Suite or just install the only the Solutions that we own?  Keep in mind that we might be buying other Solutions in the future, just not the whole suite.

I would recommend only installing the solutions you own. It will simplify things for you.

Install the Platform first, then each of the solutions (Inventory and Patch).  Be aware that some functionality that's console-related may actually come with other solutions (namely the Activity Center UI based on Silverlight, which is actually installed as part of Deployment Solution or as part of the entire suite).  Installing other solutions will only make things confusing since you aren't licensed for them.  (To those licensed, I recommend installing it anyway, even if there are no plans today to use it, so that it's available when needed.)
