Question regarding client updates from management server or GUP

Hi,

If my SEP site is configured to schedule LiveUpdates daily between a specific time, and my clients are set to update from the management server, do the clients utilise the same schedule or do they retrieve the updates as they become available during their own scheduled check-in with the management server?

I know I can create LU policies for my clients and schedule that way if selecting to retrieve from LU servers, but wondered if clients would follow the site settings if configured as above

whatever comes first but they will run both.

management check in is based on the heartbeat interval ( push or pull method)

if you scheduled a liveupdate policy it will run as per the scheduled and check updates, if client is upto date it would not download any from internet
