A question for the Workflow community...
I am part of a team that is putting together instructional material around Workflow. I want to know from the community what resources you want to have.
- What areas of Workflow need additional collateral?
- What media do you prefer?
- Do you have any criticism for current Workflow instructional material?
Please offer your feedback; it directly affects what we create!

Process Manager
Process Manager is a component that is woefully underdocumented and very little training on administration and usage exists on it. The key things I would like to see are:
Setting Up Process Manager for use with AD
Adding and Managing Users
Adding and Managing Process Tasks with Workflow
Adding and Managing Projects with Workflow
Adding and Managing Project Tasks with Workflow
These would be a good start. I realize you could set up a 5-Day training course on Process Manager alone.
Thanks for your help.

Component Helpfiles
I would love to see more instructions on how to use the out of box components. Many of them have no help file at all.

Thanks Shawn! Should help us newbies out.

Thanks for the feedback, and thanks Shawn for jumping in and pointing out some helpful resources.
Thanks!!
That document and the examples in it are really useful. Everyone starting out using Workflow should use it as it can get fustrating searching for which component should be used for the things you want to do.
More info on AD components would be nice. I know there are some posts about Incendio but the ones I have seen only seem to cover what each component is for and not how to use them. Connecting Workflow with AD opens up a whole world of possibilities within my organization. I'm sur I'm not the only one having a hard time wrapping my head around the AD components. Maybe a sort of AD & Workflow for Dummies could be created for those of us just getting our feet wet. I've seen some great videos on this site and they have helped a lot in the past. To be specific, I'd like to see more info about reading and modifying existing AD info rather than the typical user creation that is out there.
Thank you mods for cleaning up the extra posts, something freaked out and started posting after every word I typed earlier.
Workflow Webinar on AD Components
We are hosting a webinar on May 7th that will cover the AD compenents that we have developed at Incendio. The bulk of the presentation will be hands on creating a process live using the AD components. We'd love to have you join and ask questions. Here is the link to register for the webinar, https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/686173515. Let me know if you would like to talk in more detail, but we hope to see you on the webinar. Thanks.

Thanks for the invite Erik.
Thanks for the invite Erik. It was a very informative webinar and I think it cleared up many of my questions. Will there be a recorded copy available somewhere for future references or for those who were not able to attend?
Portal Permissions
I have read the documenation mentioned, but would love more documentation of setting up permissions and roles.
Thanks.
Form Builder
Thanks all for the input. We're working on the topics you gave.
We're also thinking of putting together a substantial guide on Forms (fomr components, themes, etc.). How helpful would this be to you, and what topics or specific components in Form Builder would you like information on?
Thanks

How to setup a basic tracking system
I'd like to see a video on how to setup a basic tracking system so that users can check what stage they are in the workflow. Something similar to a Purolator tracking system where it shows the status of a request. This can be a link that users can click on and it displays their active workflows and on the form, show things such as time the request was submitted, pending approval and so on. This would be really beneficial for new users like myself as one of the most asked questions I get is "how do I know what/where my status is in the workflow".

Have you seen the Workflow tracking capabilities in Process Manager?
More Component Help Files
I like the current component help document, but I would like to see more compenents explained. For instance, how to retreive e-mails from a pop mailbox and create a ticket from that e-mail.
