    Good day everyone.

I am new to Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition and have just installed a trial version.

Please assist me with the following questions.

    1. May I know what is the URL for me to monitor my account / client / information, e.g. number of clients been install and etc

    2. I have only one Windows Server 2012 R2 residing on Amazon Web Services to protect. I have downloaded and installed the Symantec.cloud Agent. May I know how can I schedule scan task?

    Thanks for your kind attention.

    Hello Thomas,

All access to deploying and monitoring the SBE hosted solution is available at
    https://hostedendpoint.spn.com.

Please additionally see our Getting Started and Administrator guides here:
    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH212189

To schedule your scan tasks you can utilize this direct link: https://hostedendpoint.spn.com/Policies.aspx or navigate through the portal from the Policies tab to the Services > Endpoint Protection policies page.

Once you are on that page click 'Add Policy'.

At the bottom of the new policy page there is a section for Scan Schedule which you can set for either Servers Only or both Servers and Workstations. Please note that if a schedule is not set for Workstations they will default to scanning every 30 days.

    Hi Mitchell,

    Thanks for your reply.

I am keen to use Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition for my only Windows Server 2012 R2 residing on EC2, Amazon Web Services (AWS).

However, I come across issues in the links below, and am wondering if they will affect my Windows Server too.

May I ask if the issues have been resolved and will they cause problems to AWS Windows Server?

    Have a pleasant day.
