Hi everyone,

I have a questions,

Some way exists to control the bandwidth for the "Task Agent"?,  when a package is downloaded and the communication with the Server is lost, when starting again the communication, the package is downloaded in the point where remained? , or is downloaded again from the beginning?.

I wait for yours comments.

Greetings!!!

Answer for the second question...

As far as I know, package download starts from the last failure point after the communication resumes.

Agreed, One of the advantages

Agreed,

One of the advantages of using HTTP for the downloads is bit by bit downloading allowing for a resume when connection is lost.  This would be why HTTP is preferred over UNC.  For UNC copying to be resumed, the copy has to come from the exact same location (if multiple package servers and the client connects to a different UNC path for the same file, it will have to download the whole thing again).  My understanding is that all Altiris download events, happening via http, will happily resume where they left off.
