Queued backup

Created: 24 Sep 2013 | 1 comment

Hello,

We had run a restore for a user that never got a chance to complete. That user has now left and I've been getting the "A restore job has not completed in 24 hours" message every day for about a month now. Is there a way to view and/or manage queued restore jobs?

Thanks,

Jake

Hi,

Please run the below queries:

Osql –E –S <DB SERVER HOSTNAME>\<DB INSTNACE NAME> -d DLO –Q “Select * from Suser” –o “C:\DLO\Suser.txt”

Osql –E –S <DB SERVER HOSTNAME>\<DB INSTNACE NAME> -d DLO –Q “Select * from machinesettings” –o “C:\DLO\MachineSettings.txt”

Osql –E –S <DB SERVER HOSTNAME>\<DB INSTNACE NAME> -d DLO –Q “select * from RestoreJob” –o “C:\DLO\RestoreJob.txt”

Osql –E –S <DB SERVER HOSTNAME>\<DB INSTNACE NAME> -d DLO –Q “select * from RestorePoint” –o “C:\DLO\RestorePoint.txt”

After this get us the DLO folder present in the C:\ Drive.

Please mention the username and computername of the User to which the alert (Restore job pending) is triggered.

Thanks,
Santosh.
