    Dear All,

I am looking for some advice/information.  We have on issue on our Child NS servers running Altiris 7.5 HF3.

We create custom task schedules on our parent server and allow them to flow down to the child.  The tasks within the custom task schedule will run at the correct time and all looks ok.  The bind is if we try the "Quick run" option on the on the child server on the task, it will instantly fail.

It come back saying that the task timed out.  It shows the start time as the start time of the Original CTS schedule in this case 5:15am and the End time is the time I tried the Quick Run.  So it shows the tasks are outstanding for hundreds of minutes.

The error log on the server show that the Task is created and then failed.

If you take the code from the script and make a local version it will run.  At first I though this was only affecting Unix scripts but it is actually all of them.

The Site/Task servers are up to date and on the same version.
