Endpoint Protection

I'm trying to get Symantec AV to perform a Quick Scan and exclude scanning mapped drives.  What I've done so far:

Went into Quick Scan > Options > checked Exclude files and folders > Exclusions > Files/Folders > checked (check AND plus sign) drive to exclude.  Quick Scan still tries to scan mapped drive, hangs on it for 5+ minutes "Scanning memory, loadpoints and security risks..."

Try going the other way. Scan and uncheck My Computer. This will uncheck everything then select all the drives you want to scan.

Hi tech, this is for SEP Client right? Please check the Tab, What to scan then uncheck what you dont want to scan. If you have a SEPM it could be overwriting your policies.
