  • 1.  QuickTime 7.7.9 update in Patch Management

    Our Security team is asking us to patch QuickTime to 7.7.9 on our Windows 7 computers. This was released on Jan 7, 2016.

    In the Patch Management metadata import task, I have checked Quicktime 7.7 under Apple. I've updated the vendor list. We have a daily Import Patch Data task running, which is completing successfully.

    I'm still not seeing QuickTime 7.7.9 in the software bulletins report. 1. What should I be checking? 2. What is the expected wait time for security updates like this?

    Nevermind! The QuickTime 7.7.9 update appeared in today's import - so I guess 4 business days should be our expectation to wait for 3rd party security patches to be processed by Symantec.
