"System.AccessViolationException" when planning a backup-task

Hi all,
I have read the other topics about the "System.AccesViolationException" but I have a different problem. It occurs when I am planning a backup-task.

"Exception: System.AccessViolationException
Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

Stack Trace:     at BackupExec.UI.BEDlgs.ShowDialog(Int32 dialogld)
   at BackupExec.UI.MainForm.al(Command A_0)
   at BackupExec.UIFramework.CommandManager.a(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Application.ThreadContext.System.Windows.Forms.UnsafeNativeMethods.IMsoComponent.FDoIdle(Int32 grfidlef)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Application.ComponentManager.System.Windows.Forms.UnsafeNativeMethods.IMsoComponentManager.FPushMessageLoop(Int32 dwComponentID, Int32 reason, Int32 pvLoopData)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Application.ThreadContext.RunMessageLoopInner(Int32 reason, ApplicationContext context)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Application.ThreadContext.RunMessageLoop(Int32 reason, ApplicationContext context)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Application.Run(Form mainForm)
   at BackupExec.UI.MainForm.a(String[] A_0)
   at BackupExec.UI.MainForm.b(String[] A_0)"

So my question is: Will a repair installation fix my problem, too??

Thank you for help.

I am encountering the same/similar error, here is my error:

A severe application error has occurred.

I get this when I try to create a selection list/new backup job, and before I get the error, under All Resources it shows nothing in the list, it's just empty.  No local drives no network, nothing.  Has anyone else encountered this?

Tonas, did you ever find a resolution?

I performed a complete uninstall/reinstall of the program, with no resolution.

The machine is a Windows 2008 Domain Controller, 64 bit.

I had deinstalled and install the software again. The error comes, when I will open the calendar for task planing.
