RALUS Agent with Backup exec 12

We have recently upgraded to BE for Windows Server v12 from 11d, this is all running fine except for the RALUS agents on our 2 x HP/UX 11i Servers. The agents were also upgraded to ver 12.0.1364.9.

Since the upgrade our backspeed for these 2 servers have dropped from 1000MB/min to 450MB/min for one, and 800MB/min to 240MB/min for the other.

Does anyone have any pointers for improving this? The only changes to the servers has been the new version of the agent, the amount of data backed up has remained constant.

After logging a call with symantec support this was resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the RALUS agent on both HPUX servers, throughput is now back to what it was before the upgrade.

Hope this helps someone else
