    To whom it may concern,

I have a Dell Precision T3500 that I'm trying to image but am receiving the following errors during the boot process.

IBM RAMDrive version 3.10 virtual disk C:
RAMDrive: Extended Memory Manager not present
    MS-DOS LAN Manager v2.1 Netbind
    IBM Netbind Version 2.1
    Microsoft Mouse Driver Version 8.20
    Copyright Microsoft Corp. 1983-1992.
    Copyright IBM Corp. 1992-1993
    Mouse driver installed
    Loading....
    Searching for RAMDISK drive letter.
    RAM drive not found!
    A:\>

    Notes:
    - This is a brand new machine and bios does see the HDD
    - I've updated the LiveUpdate
    - I create boot discs using PC-Dos
    - I deleted partion prior to pushing a new image

I hope I've supplied all the necessary information to get assistance. All help appreciated

    Hi,

We need to see as to where the problem lies.
This RAM drive not found error might be because of PC-DOS or because of Live Update.
Lets single out the cause of the error.
When creating a boot package select one click virtual partiton with PC-DOS.

    thanks

    Hi Sockkalingham,

I ended up making a bootable cd and tested that w/ no problems. So remove my last request.

However I have a couple questions if you can assist.

    - I'm running Ghost Suite 11.0.2.1573 and would like to know if there is a way to create a bootable cd w/ the ghost image on it converted in .iso?
    - I have dozens of PCs at my company and rather then making a bootable cd for every model is there a way to make "1" bootable CD for all PC Models?

    I really appreciate your assistance

    Hi,

The answer for your question will be YES.
You need not convert the image file into .iso
Add the .gho image as additional files.
Go through the below mentioned document.
    http://service1.symantec.com/support/on-technology.nsf/854fa02b4f5013678825731a007d06af/81ceb9da6d0995ef88257634007bb617?OpenDocument
This document will clearly explain you as how you can add the image file.

    For your second question:
If all the machines are of similar configuration (including Ethernet Card) then you can use the same bootable CD as a Universal one.

    thanks
