I am using Symantec Scan Engine 5.2.13 with its corresponding SymJavaAPI.jar running on;

java version "1.6.0_18"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_18-b07)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 16.0-b13, mixed mode)
 

I get random failures with the error message;

com.symantec.scanengine.api.ScanException: Unable to open a stream to recieve the data from the server.

For example, this morning I ran it 14 times and got the above error message 6 times.

I have looked at the symantec logs and see no errors.

Please can someone help.
