    Hello,

We have recently upgraded to 7.5 hf1 and have noticed that rapideploy is no longer available within the 'imaging tool' option when creating a windows image.  Is this still a feature of 7.5 HF1?

    Thanks

Rapid Deploy or RDeploy has been deprecated a LONG LONG time ago.  It hasn't seen a lick of development in ... oh, maybe 5+ years?  Just a guess.  The point is, it was supposed to be gone ages ago in favor of Ghost.  Ghost is the recommended tool, and RDeploy was left in to help people convert over to Ghost.

So if it's gone, good.  I know, not to those who love it, but think about it from a Symantec standpoint: how many imaging tools do you really want to maintain?

Not an official answer, but hopefully it helps a bit.  Move to ghost.

Marking up Thomas' post here as the answer as unlikely poster will do so with such bad news :-)

Starting from 7.5 SP1, Rdeploy is no longer an option to capture new images.

Deploy still works for images captured beforehand and images brought in via resource import tool
