This issue has been solved. See solution.

Has anyone discovered a way to cache credentials used with the bulk update utility?  How about an option to use the system account for applying updates?  It's kind of a pain to enter credentials individually for thirty servers every time an update is released.

Sorry to say, but there is not a way to do either of those at the moment.  I can only suggest adding an enhancement request to the Ideas section of the portal.

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/backup-and...

The ideas site is reviewed by our teams for features that need to be added to Backup Exec.

I looked a little closer at

I looked a little closer at the functionality of the utility.  Turns out you can select all the servers in the list, then apply the same credentials to them at once.  This will suffice for my needs.

Thanks for your help everyone,
