I have used Backup Exec 2010 to run a backup of the database, and i got a bkf file with 1.2GB. The backup was successful.

And now my system has refreshed and i install a Backup Exec 2012 in it.

Somehow, I cannot restore the bfk file. There is an error as follow.

"An inconsistency was encountered on the storage media in Backup -to-disk folder 0001. V-79-57344-33994- The data being read from the media is inconsistent."

Did you try re-cataloging backup sets?

And post the upgrade, is the Backup -to-disk folder 0001 configured as a Disk Storage or as a legacy B2D folder ? If the latter, you would have to import, inventory & then catalog..
