  • 1.  Reading current name of location within SNAC

    Is there any way how to read the name of currently using location of SEP client? I thought  I could use SNAC and vb script, but didn't find the way how read this information. What I need is to make a report of locations, computers within this location and its basic information (IP configuration etc.). I want to make sure that my locations are correctly set.

    From the SEP client you can find it from 
    SEP GUI - Change Settings - Client Management- 

    or in registry
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SMC\
    CurLocation

    In SEPM Go to Monitors--->Logs--->computer status select the required time range clock on view log .You will get all the information.in you need you can export this as txt file and import it to excel sheet .Then do necessary modification--deleting unwanted columns etc...
