  • 1.  Real-Time Console Summary Error

    When I click on Summary for Real-Time Console I am getting a message stating "The resource cannot be found." Please see screen shot attached for more info. Would anyone know how to clean this up?

    does that actual virtual directory exist? If it does, make sure it's an an actual application\virtual direcotry (I sometimes forget, but I think a non vd is blue). Otherwise, sounds like a fantastical repair of the solution. I've been leaning more towards using the aexconfig /configure "location of solution.config file". That way you can fix one problematic app, instead of doing a system wide repair.

    No the VD does not exist. I notice that all of the pages that are not working are in the RTSM vd.

    We ran a repair by using the msiexec command on the file altiris_rtsm_7_0_kb49644_sp2_x86.msi. The file was located at "Program Files\Altiris\Symantec Installation Manager\Installs\Altiris." This installed RTSM virtual directory and all is well again. Double clicking the msi did not work. It has to be ran from the command line.
