Deployment Solution

Major Problems here....  can't even get one vm client to work.  Argh.

I am getting more and more frustated with this product the more I work with it.

I am trying to run the Tasks "Reboot to Production" or "Reboot to Folder Automation" and both are failing with return Code 1.

I can run the "Restart Computer" task no problem.

Notification Server Version 7.1 on Server 2008R2

Client Win7SP1 (x32)

I am following along with the Lab books.

In order for these tasks to work you need to have the deployment plug-in and deployment automation folder installed on the client ('Settings>All Settings>Deployment and Migration>Windows (x86 or x64)' in the console). When I get that error it is always because one of these is not installed 

Update

Yes I did have both the plugin and automation folder present.  What solved it was a reinstall of the Altiris Client Task Agent and the Deployment Solution Plugin-in.

What bothers me is that it was a brand new install.  Why did I have to install again.  Lol
