Recent changes in http vs. https sites?

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I don't have anything concrete, but it feels like this week the "http://www" and "https://www-secure" versions of Connect have started behaving differently for me...especially when it comes to being logged in (I stay logged in using "https" but my original bookmark said "http" so I was constantly looking like I was NOT logged in) and in whether or not blog post votes are being seen and counted (for me, https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/blogs/will... has +2 whilst http://www.symantec.com/connect/blogs/will-symante... has zero votes...and I'm requested to log in :) ).

Did something happen to "decouple" these two sites so they no longer act as the same site?  (Did this question make sense?)

Hi CRZ,

We did move Connect to a shiny new collection of servers this past weekend.

And we do have a ticket opened to look into some issues with Akamai that might explain why the vote counts differ between your authenticated (https) and anonymous (http) views.

We'll keep working on the issue.

Kevin
