  • 1.  Recommendations for 3rd party knowledge base products

    Looking for recommendations for good 3rd party products for knowledge base.  Integration with ServiceDesk 7.5 would be great, but stand alone is not out of the question.  Primary audience would be technical staff.

    Nothing that I've found integrates into SD but for our technical staff we have an install of MediaWiki running and allow the techs to generate and update the documentation as we progress. Its worked quite well as we've generated several thousand pages of docs in a relatively short period of time. Its also not very hard to work with and has some plugin options that can be explored (like tabs, which I love!).

    I've been looking at several solutions for this over the last month or so. I've not been happy with any of them! Not joking, I'm actually leaning towards an in house WordPress solution. It's quick, extensible, and can be made to do almost anything I can imagine. No integration into ServiceDesk, but I honestly hadn't really thought about that. What sort of integration would you be wanting? I have no solutions, obviously, but I'm looking for ideas myself.
