Hi ,

We are using SEE 8.2

How do we recover the data which is present on the encrypted hard drive if in case of Hardware failure (RAM, processor, motherboard)?

As per the article posted, it is recommended that you contact Symantec Technical Support for help in using the Access and Recover CDs, but they are the tools you'll need in addressing your problem.

Something else you'll have to consider is, due to the hardware problems, you'll likely have to remove the encrypted disk, and place it in another machine, preferably of the same make and model.  I'd recommend you make sure this is the only disk in the working machine as well (to reduce the risk of messing with any unencrypted disks).
