It is not possible to reset the password in SEE. You need to uninstall the Framework and Hard piece, remove the old OTP key from "dbo.gemsdeploymentkeys" table and reinstall the Framework and Hard disk again to setup a new password for SEE. The machine will not be able to check in with the server, because reinstall framework will set up a new key entry under the same "dbo.gemsdeploymentkeys". Now the Keys will not be identical on old Encrypted clients and the server because of Framework reinstall. You would need to create a new .msi with OTP key changer.exe and roll it out on the old endpoints to setup the check-in between client and the server. Please let me now if you have any question concerns before applying the stated steps. Thanks.
Hello Sean. Please follow the instructions stated by Nitin. This is the only way possible to reset the Management password and I have tested it in my lab environment. As suggested by Nitin , please keep in mind the after effects of the reset.
Once the key is reset, do you just need to reinstall updated framework and full disk installs on the clients, or do they have to be re-encrypted as well? Will a recovery file generated after the key is reset work on an unupdated client thats having issues and can't have the software reinstalled?

Unfortunately
Unfortunately no way to recover the password. You must reinstall all of the SEE Manager and Client installations.
