This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi, everyone. Got some trouble in our RS environment. We moved our NS to a VM and RS stopped working. Found that ip change on virtual nic made RS Server "unreachable" for all users.

Well, short story, got it back working again and started to re-join users to server. Problem is that the only snapshot working is a full system recovery job. I've tried to set up default recovery agent settings to only a folder (documents and settings) but no way of avoiding that snapshot includes only that folder, It does a full C drive backup (17 gb avrg)

Hope someone can help.

RS 6.2, NS 6.0 (sp3+r7)

Ivan, Did you change the

Ivan,

Did you change the "Cluster Address" in the RS cluster configuration in the NS console?  If you're using the host name, be sure that your DNS is updated with the new server IP address.  The whole process is here in HOWTO10221.  Don't worry; uninstalling the RS server doesn't hurt anything, but be sure to apply any hotfixes you had previously installed on the server afterwards.  Also, RS 6.2 SP4 was just released today, so you may want to test it out in your test environment and upgrade your production environment if it tests out well for you.

Thanks,
Kyle

Correct. First of all please

Correct. First of all please check whether "Cluster Address" setting is changed after moving the RS Server to VM.

Another important point - whether RS SQL database was moved to different SQL server as well? If yes, then changing just "Cluster Address" will not resolve the problem, you will have to perform more complex steps (like Linked server recreation on the new SQL server etc.).

Thank you,

Andrew.
