"Documents and Settings" This folder on the disk D

How to configure Altiris Local Recovery ?

"Documents and Settings" folder using the backup NETBACKUP.

Altiris need to back up the contents of the disk C

IBM x61 T8100 1G Inter ICH8M 3 PORT Serial ATA --2828

HITACHI HTS542512K9SA00

OS :XP PRO SP2

System environment : MCAFEE SYMANTEC PROTECTION netbackup CHECK POINT VPN CA DSM SOFTWARE

C 19.5G / 11.2G
D 92.2G / 59.6G

ibrahimba,

I don't think I understand your question. What are you trying to accomplish? I don't use Local Recovery, but if you're using the NS Console to set the options, just configure for a partial snapshot and add the D:\Documents and Settings folder. What does NetBackup have to do with this? Please clarify your goal if it is other than backing up only the D:\Documents and Settings directory.

Altiris Local Recovery ==> Disk C

NETBACKUP ==> D:\Documents and Settings directory





How to use Altiris Local Recovery only backup DISK C ?

Configure the RS Agent policy so it includes only drive C:; the default is "All Local Drives" I believe.
