recyler.exe virus

Hi

I am using SEPM 11x but facing an issue regarding recycler virus, sepm not detect the said virus and my clients are infected with the same one

 

andy idea/solution

Submit the folder.exe and recycl.exe to https://submit.symantec.com/basic

once you get the deifinitions it will be detected and deleted.

submit the file sto symantec and delete if it is not required.

have you scanned the system with latest RR?

Might be new undetected strain... do submit using link provided above..

 

You may run SEP support tool to capture it too....

Agree with above comments.

Try runnig a scan in safe mode with latest RR. If it doesn't fix then submit the file to SYmantec. they will analyse the file and include the defs in the next update to remove the virus.

Using Symantec Support Tool, how do we Collect the Suspicious Files and Submit the same to Symantec Security Response Team.
