    Hello Folks.

    I've a client running SEP 11.0.4202.75. Its definition is upto date but the SEP icon on task bar is in red circle & the status is 'Proactive Threat Protection' is Off with Waiting for updates.......

    we've tried following troubleshooting..

    1. update the sylink.xml & restart the symantec services.
    2. update policy profile.
    3. rebooting the machine.
    4. reinstalled the SEP

    can anyone help me with this issue...

    open add/remove programs
    select sep
    select modify
    remove proactive threat protection
    complete the install.
    reboot the machine
    follow the same procedure to installl proactive now;
    whats the os >>

    ??
