  • 1.  Regarding the blockage of Bluetooth and Infrared

    Hi,

       I have using 11.0.6005 in my Site. There USB blocking policy is applied in all desktop and on some Laptop. I want to stop the access of internal Laptop bluetooth and Infrared. I know that there one hardware ID avail in Device Control to block the blutrooth/Infrared, but before applying that I want to confirm that. Can I get sucess after applying it, because I have not any Laptop for testing purpose and I want to implement it before morning..

    So pls help me..

    That will work without a doubt.

    Block Infrared Devices and Bluetooth Device(generic) and it will block those.

    Make sure you have Human Interface Devices in Devices Excluded List.

    When I apply the same. WIFI connection will work or not??

    Wifi will work as it is not Bluetooth or Infrared it is Network Adapter.

    To block that you will need to add Network Adapter in that list (just an FYI)

    阻止红外设备和蓝牙 设备 (generic) ，它将阻止那些。

    请确保您将Human Interface （人机接口）设备从列表中排除。
