Hi,
I run the EVSVR utility in arc server to idetify how many DVS files are missing. I found the following result.

2012-12-15 00:29:32 Stop Requested
2012-12-15 00:29:32
2012-12-15 00:29:34
2012-12-15 00:29:34 Savesets processed: 3577864
2012-12-15 00:29:34 Savesets with missing SIS Parts: 0
2012-12-15 00:29:34
2012-12-15 00:29:34 Savesets without SIS Parts: 2070131 (57.9%)
2012-12-15 00:29:34 Savesets with SIS Parts: 1507733 (42.1%)

Here the saveset records are not matching with saveset processed? DO you have any idea why it is happening like this?

Well I could be wrong but it was told to stop before it finished?
I agree with JW3, it appears that the stop command was issued before it had a chance to complete.

No . It was not asked any thing to stop inbetween. but when the utility completed i checked the log and it was showing as stoped.
Are you absolutely sure??
The fact it says stop requested means literally what it says, that something or someone requested it to stop
The log should end like this
2011-01-27 14:10:38 Processing rate: 399694 Items/hour
2011-01-27 14:10:38 Elapsed time: 0 days, 2 hours, 47 minutes, 9 seconds
2011-01-27 14:10:38
2011-01-27 14:10:38 Operation completed

my company believes we have lost DVS and DVSSP files. Using the EVSVR tool what configuration is best to use that will tell me if the file is missing with the quickest response time? I have a global configuration but I only want to validate a single Vault store group.
you can select whatever vault store you want to check in EVSVR, you can even drill down to a lower level but i would strongly recommend opening a support case if you believe you have data loss and need to analyze with EVSVR.
