Reinstall

Hello,
 
My question is: Is there a way to reregister an agent? Here is what has happened: I installed backup exec 12 , then installed the agent and the exchange agent which requires a reboot. I then went back and uninstalled BE 12 and did a reinstall os BE 12 because I wanted to move the program files. Now the reinstall doensn't see the exchange server. But the agent and everything is already installed. Now is there a manual register on the client side so I dont have to reboot this server? Or do i need to push the agents again and reboot the server again? I would rather not reboot if is dont have too.

Well considering I can't get answers to 2 very simple questions on here I was pressed to call the support line. You have to just do another reinstall and reboot the server. I just wanted to post a complaint about the lack of support in these forums but I also wanted to let anyone else know that may read this what has to be done.
 
I'm disappointed that Synamtec whats you to use these forums so you dont have to call in but the end user can't get 2 simple answers.

Just to let you know and not trying to me a smart A** but this forum is for users and symantec will from time to time help out but are not required to. This is my understanding anyway.

After you reinstalled BE, did you add the agent for Exchange license to BE again? The license lives on the media server, so until it's re-added BE won't show you any Exchange resources.

I understand everything you said. But Symantecforces you to use these forums if you choose not to call in. And I dont always have 2 hours to spend working my way thru tech support. Anyway I just reinstalled it.
