Hello Friends,

I need reinstall an array of SBG's. This is the configuration:

3 scanner for inbound
2 scanner for outbound
1 C.C.

Could indicate which is the best practice for the process keeping in mind that:

Is very important to keep the DB and the logs and to keep the service active.

Thank you very much.

Not sure what you are looking

Not sure what you are looking for, are you upgrading or doing an OS restore?

If OS restore, you need to back up the current config on the control center and offload it to an FTP site. Then perform the OS restore on the control center, then each scanner.

 Yeh - We'd need a bit more

Yeh - We'd need a bit more of an idea of the situation here.
Are you reinstalling to new hardware?

Not entirely sure what the underlying problem is.

Give us more detail and I'm sure we can help.

Hi, it looks like you already

Hi,

it looks like you already have redundancy for both inbound and outbound so if you want to work on the scanners you should be able to keep the traffic flowing. You can backup, OS restore and restore the backup within the same SBG software version without problems.
Still as previously suggested, having more information about what you would like to achieve would help in order to provide a proper answer.

Thanks,

Federico
