Reinstall Symantec Endpoint Protection Client

Hello, I'm Tuan  come from Vietnam.

I'm using Window 7 Pro, I used Your Uninstaller Pro to remove the SEP client 12.1.671 but on my computer the file exist SEP client 12.1.671. And now, when I reinstall it on my computer, I get the follow notice:

"SEP has detected that there are pending system changes that require a reboot. Please reboot system and rerun the installation". But when I reboot system and rerun, I still get this problem.

Please help me.

Installation fails with the message "Pending system changes that require a reboot have been detected"

Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\PendingFileRenameOperations

and delete the key called PendingFileRenameOperations

Try the install again

I did as instructed but could not find PendingFileRenameOperations.

Hi

Please run the Cleanwipe and reinstall the newer version i.e. SEP 12.1.3 which has many fixes

Can you please share the SEP_INSTA.LOG from %temp%

Runnning Cleanwipe can solve this issue.

Try the cleanwipe latest tool which you can get from Symantec Technical Support .
