Reinstalling SMS 6.5 nearly completes but fails and rolls back action

I had a corrupt Exchange database that was causing mail flow issues. I uninstalled SMS to troubleshoot. I repaired the database and moved some corrupt mailboxes around to a new database. Now when I try to reinstall SMS it goes almost all the way through then fails and then rolls back the installation. There are no error messages presented or in the logs. I've tried the manual uninstall method and have cleared out everything according to the article. It still will not install. I'm stuck and the SPAM is flowing. Help.

I solved the problem. I had to delete the two smsmse security groups from active directory. I did get an error at the end of installation though, Failed to register asp .net for smsmse DeXLservice, run aspnet_regiis.exe. Everything seems to be working so I don't know if I'll worry about it.
